My approach to therapy involves establishing an authentic, trustworthy and vibrant connection with each client, demonstrating that I have heard clearly what they have been experiencing and helping develop a target of where they want to go now. I integrate various clinical perspectives and interventions to get these components accomplished, including Trauma Informed Hypnotherapy, Rapid Resolution Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems and Attachment Theory. I also incorporate elements of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing when useful in moving toward  a client’s target.  My goal is to help each client access inner resources and function more effectively and powerfully in their life.  My private psychotherapy practice focuses on clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, unresolved grief, “stuck” depression, shame, and disruption of personal or occupational relationships, with or without accompanying substance abuse.  I have deep experience in working with physicians, nurses, other therapists, and attorneys and am qualified to help them therapeutically.
